Fortunis Capital has been accepted into the Armed Forces Covenant.

Fortunis Capitals COO Sir Andrew Ross Bt, comments “In Fortunis, we are both delighted and privileged to be officially supporting the Armed Forces Covenant. The Covenant recognises the commitment and sacrifice our service men and women have made, and continue to make, on behalf of us all here in the United Kingdom. We feel – strongly – that the very least we can do in turn is recognise them. Whilst half our team itself comprises military veterans, we are always looking for further opportunities to support, employ, coach or just encourage veterans and service-leavers, as well as related military charities and other support organisations. Supporting technical and scientific innovation here in the UK sits at the heart of Fortunis; this Covenant reinforces this with our support to this Country’s Armed Forces.”

The Covenant supports serving personnel, service leavers, veterans, and their families, and is fulfilled by the different groups that have committed to making a difference.

These include:

Central government, overseen by the Ministerial Covenant and Veterans Board

Single Services (Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force)

Businesses of all sizes

Local government

Charities

Communities

Cadet forces and their adult volunteers

To those who proudly protect our nation, who do so with honour, courage, and commitment, the Armed Forces Covenant is the nation’s commitment to you.

It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
