We only invest in concepts that are going to support the positive evolution of our society by providing solutions to problems worth solving. OUR JOURNEY
We started our journey by asking ourselves what we want our legacy to be in this world, what it is we want to achieve. How can we create the greatest impact.
Our answer: a society more evolved; worthwhile problems solved; and challenges overcome to the benefit of millions.
We went about this by finding our first handful of great teams who were solving worthwhile problems; we supported them fully through investment, our people, and our resources.
In turn those successes introduced other great teams, and new problems worth solving. Because of our approach and our ethos, along with our active support towards our investees, our deal flow is now self-perpetuating.
We have created a natural stream of industry-leading concepts from incredible individuals and teams looking to change the future of our society.

OUR OPERATIONS
FORTUNIS HAS THREE INTERACTIVE OPERATIONS THAT SUPPORT OUR MISSION.
Innovation Funding
We have developed a form of Research and Development low interest rate lending to help our individuals and teams develop their concepts in a Fortunis-led environment.
This environment protects our conceptualists from having to surrender large amounts of equity at this early stage and at the same time, provides them with full support to complete the viability phase of their development and prepare for commercial application.
We always hope that a concept will grow, especially with the levels of support we provide, and that we can take the concept forward for further investment. In such cases, the lending is converted to share capital as part of the investment process.
Research and Development operates in support of our Venture Capital operations.
Growth Finance
Fortunis Capital has developed a highly specialised product in the Purchase Finance Industry.
We support UK businesses with access to different forms of Growth Finance, normally with a view to further investment at a later date.
Our Growth Finance enables our businesses to pivot to change, to adapt and to grow to meet their ambitions. Growth Finance supports our Venture Capital operations.
Venture Capital Evolved
Our Venture Capital function is at the centre of our structure and is our focus above all else.
Importantly, we are not remote from our investees: we are very comfortable being at the grass-roots level alongside our new investees. This is a space we understand extremely well: we know intimately how to build concepts and add value.
Our interests are invariably aligned with our investees, and our investors. We enable success and raise the commercial value of our portfolio while ensuring we deliver on Our Mission, helping society to evolve positively.
However, we recognise that not all great concepts are immediately ready for investment and that they can benefit from exposure to our Research and Development and Growth Finance options.
Fortunis Venture Capital supports firms by investing, leading on investment rounds, as well as through the provision of support at all levels.
This support takes the form of commitment through investing capital, building a great team, opening doors and being part of the journey.
We actively manage all of our portfolio, deploying our extensive in-house experience to do so. This is a huge part of our risk mitigation for our investors: we always have a deep understanding of the businesses in which we invest and this ongoing management support at all levels of the investment is maintained until such time as we exit to a longer-term partner for our investees.
Our exit is not only the point at which our value is realised in commercial terms, but also the time when we can reflect on the positive benefits we have together made to society, and which we have enabled our investees to continue to make into the future.
